ABOUT THE AWARDS
The West Metro Board of REALTORS® is fortunate to have many wonderful volunteers donating their time, energy and talent to make the association a successful organization. Each year, the Board takes the opportunity to recognize a few of these
individuals with the following awards: Anita Robinson Spirit Award, REALTOR® of the Year and Rookie of the Year.
Nominations for the awards listed below are appreciated. Nomination forms can be downloaded using the links to the right under "Applications". All nominations will be presented to the Awards Committee and must be in the Board office by January 15th by 5:00 pm.
Anita Robinson Spirit Award
In June, 2003, the West Metro Board lost a vital part of our REALTOR® family when we lost Anita Robinson in a tragic car accident. We miss her deeply, but remember with fondness her love for life, family, and community. This award is open to any REALTOR® who exemplifies Anita's spirit by displaying constant community and board involvement, a willingness to lend a helping hand, and who has superb working relations with their fellow REALTORS®.
REALTOR® of the Year Award
Candidate must hold REALTOR® membership in an Association of REALTORS® from October 1st of the previous year to September 30th of the current year (the qualifying period) and be a member of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association at the time of nomination. Factors taken into consideration include REALTOR® spirit, civic activity, and business accomplishments.
Rookie of the Year
The Rookie of the Year Award is presented to a member who has joined the Board in the last year, attends Board events, is productive in the Real Estate field and is involved in the community.
Additional Annual Awards
The awards are presented annually as determined by the Nomination Committee, President and Top Producers Committee respectively.
The President's Award is personally selected by the President of the Board and is given to the member for outstanding service and contributions to the Board going far beyond any particular assignment. The recipient is recognized for his/her dedication and sharing of time and experience with others, all of which benefit the Board and its membership.
Members of the West Metro REALTOR® Top Producers exemplify the highest caliber of real estate professionalism and service and membership is based on the personal production of at least one million dollars in real estate transactions by the individual. More »
