WHAT MEMBERSHIP MEANS
The 400 North REALTORS® serves as a central source of information for our members and our main focus are real estate education, the promotion of professionalism in our industry, and representing our REALTOR® members with legislative initiatives to create positive change for the real estate community. Throughout its history, the 400 North REALTORS® has exerted its influence in civic affairs in its capacity of representing a substantial segment of the business community in the area. The Association is committed to supporting our community, which supports us.
Membership provides a purpose, vision, and mission in the promotion and protection of the real estate industry. It also provides a means for developing life-long affiliations, an outlet for community involvement, and a means of defending the American dream of home ownership and private property rights. Members of the 400 North REALTORS® aim higher, gain more, and make greater strides in both their business and personal endeavors.

ARE YOU REPRESENTING YOUR INDUSTRY AS A REALTOR®?
A real estate agent is a REALTOR® when he or she becomes a member of the National Association of REALTORS® - The Voice for Real Estate, the world's largest professional association. The term REALTOR® is a legally registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics, and exhibits a commitment to Fair Housing. When joining the 400 North REALTORS®, members are automatically enrolled as members of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES & FEES
To join the Association, you will need to pay the prorated amount of your membership fees and an application fee. 400N's, GAR's, and NAR's fiscal cycles are based on a calendar year, January 1 - December 31.
New REALTOR® members will pay a $65 application fee in addition to the annual fee listed below.
If you are a REALTOR® type applicant and you're applying for primary membership with the 400 North REALTORS®, you can participate in a new member payment plan. Your 1st installment will include the $65 application fee + ⅓ of the pro-rated dues. Each subsequent installment will be ½ of the remaining balance and will be charged (30) days from your 1st installment date. Enrollment details are located in the payment section of the online application.
New Member REALTOR® and
Designated REALTOR®

A REALTOR® is defined as an individual who holds an active real estate or appraiser's license.
A DESIGNATED REALTOR® is an an individual that qualifies for REALTOR® membership and is also a Principal, Partner, Corporate Officer, or Branch Manager of a firm.
There is only one DESIGNATED REALTOR® per real estate firm.
REALTORS® also hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

Affiliate Membership Only

An Affiliate is an individual who does not hold an active real estate license, but has interests in the real estate profession.
Affiliates also hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR).
Affiliate Only members may participate in all 400 North REALTORS® programs but do not receive sponsorship recognition.

Affiliate Partner

An Affiliate Partner is an individual without an active real estate license whose business supports 400 North REALTORS® through annual sponsorships.
